How to change the email address where messages are received
Learn how to configure Elementor contact forms so that notifications are sent to the correct email address.
Every contact form created with Elementor Pro has its own, independent settings for where to send the messages filled out by visitors. This means you can send messages from the general form to info@ to you, but the messages from an expression-of-interest form are sent directly to the sales department's email address.
Locating the Form in Elementor
First, go to the page where the contact form is located (usually on the page “Communication” or in the footer) and click on it to open it Editing with Elementor.
- Click anywhere on the form fields. The familiar light blue outline will appear.
- In the left panel, make sure the top says Edit Form.

Change the Recipient's Email Address
In the left-hand settings panel, scroll down a bit to the **Content** tab:
- Click to open the section titled Email.
- In the first field, which is called To, you'll see your current email address. Delete it and type in the new address where you want to receive your emails.
If you want two or more people (e.g., you and your colleague) to be notified at the same time when a customer fills out the form, you don't need to create a second form. In the field To (To), enter your email addresses one after the other, **separated by a comma** (e.g.,. [email protected], [email protected]).

Storage and Testing
To finalize the change:
- Press the green button Update Click the bottom-left corner to save the settings.
- Attention: Don't skip the last step! Open your website in a new window, fill out the form with sample information as a “guest,” and send a test message.
- Check your new email to confirm that the notification was delivered successfully.
Just below the “To” field, you'll see the fields From Email and From Name. Do not change them! The server's official email address must always remain there (e.g.,. [email protected]). If you enter your personal email address there, Google’s or Microsoft’s servers will consider your site to be «impersonating» someone else and will send all messages directly to the Spam / Junk Mail.
