Reels That Deliver Value
Turn visitors into readers of your site through education.
The Value-First Reel Recipe
A successful educational reel isn't an advertisement. It's a small “dose” of a solution to a problem.
- The Hook (0–3 seconds): Get right to the point. “Stop making [mistakes] if you want to achieve [a result].”
- The Solution (3–20 seconds): Give some practical advice. Show how it’s done; don’t just say, “It has to be done.”.
- The Call to Action (CTA): Don't say “buy.” Say: “If you want the detailed plan/guide, I’ve posted it in the link on my profile.”.
Reels Formats That Drive Engagement
“Before & After”: Show the result of your work and explain in the caption or in the video the three steps needed to achieve it.
The “How-To”: Demonstrate the process (e.g., how to use a tool, how to clean something, how to choose a product).
“Myth-Buster”: Debunk a myth in your industry. (e.g., “Everyone thinks that [X] needs [Y], but in reality…”).
Many people don't turn on the sound. Add subtitles to the video and use the caption to write a summary of your advice. At the end, write in all caps: “CHECK OUT THE LINK IN MY BIO FOR MORE”.
