Carousel Posts: The Art of Swiping
Create mini-guides that educate and guide your audience through your site.
The Structure of the Carousel
For a carousel to work, it needs a beginning, a middle, and an end (CTA). I recommend a structure with 5–7 cards:
- Tab 1 (The Hook): A strong headline that promises a solution (e.g., “The 5 Mistakes That Ruin [X]”).
- Cards 2–5 (The Value): One tip per tab. Keep the text short and easy to read.
- Tab 6 (Summary): A quick reminder or a “cheat sheet.”.
- Tab 7 (The CTA): Most importantly! “Want to learn more? Click the link in the bio to read the full guide”.
Why do carousels drive traffic?;
Unlike Reels, Carousels allow users to read at their own pace. If your content is truly useful, the link at the end of the Carousel is a natural next step after reading.
Make sure the first card “points” to the second. Use an arrow or a graphic element that starts on the first card and continues onto the second. This dramatically increases the percentage of people who will swipe.
