Mastering Instagram Link Stickers

How to turn your Stories views into visitors to your website.

The “Click” Strategy”

A Link Sticker isn't just a link—it's a call to action. For a user to click on it, they need to immediately understand **what they stand to gain**.

  • 1
He created “Agonia” (Teasing): Don't post the link right away. Post 2–3 stories to set the stage (e.g., “We’re working on something for our new collection…”) and include the link in the last story.
  • 2
Educational Content: If you have a blog post, upload an image showing the main problem your article solves and include the link with the title: “Read the complete guide here”.
  • 3
Interaction before the Link: Use a poll (e.g., “Do you prefer A or B?”) before the story with the link. People who interact with the poll are much more likely to click the link afterward.
💡 Pro Tip: Visual Hierarchy

Place the Link Sticker in the “safe zone” of your phone (in the center or slightly below it). Don’t place it too high (it will be hidden by the username) or too low (it will be hidden by the reply box).*

What to write on the sticker:

Don't leave the default URL (e.g., mysite.com/article1). Click “Customize sticker text” and write something appealing, such as:

  • “See what happens next”
  • “Shop here”
  • “Learn the secrets”
