Organic Social Media Strategy
The plan to turn Instagram and Facebook into traffic “drivers” for your site.
The 3 Stages of Organic Success
Stage 1: Building Trust (Content Pillars)
Don't just post randomly. Divide your content into 3 categories:
- Educational: Get answers to questions about your industry.
- Human: Show the person behind the business.
- Promotional: The 20% section of the content where you showcase the product/service.
Stage 2: Directions to the Site
Give the user a reason to click:
- Stories (Call to Action): “Want to learn more? Click the link!” (Use stickers with questions to encourage interaction.).
- Bio Link: Use a page that includes only 3–4 key buttons (e.g., “Book an Appointment,” “View the Blog,” “Shop”).
- Captions: Write a text that piques people’s interest and end it with: “Read more at the link in my bio.”.
Stage 3: Community Management
The algorithm loves conversations:
- Respond to every comment with a question, not just a “thank you.”.
- Reply to your DMs within the first hour—it shows professionalism and helps build a relationship.
Expect results as early as the first week. Organic growth is a game of endurance (at least 3–6 months) and consistency. Don’t give up if a post doesn’t do well.
