Link in Bio: Your Website's Home Page
How to organize your links so that visitors can immediately find what they're looking for.
Options: Linktree vs. Custom Page
There are two main ways to manage your links:
| Linktree (Third-party tools) | Fast, ready, easy to use. |
| Custom Landing Page (On your own site) | You keep the traffic on your own domain (SEO boost). |
Best Practices for Organization
- Don't overload: Limit the number of buttons to 3–5 at most. If you include 15 links, the user will get confused and won’t click any of them (“choice paralysis”).
- Prioritize (Highlighting): The most important link (e.g., “Buy Now” or “Schedule an Appointment”) should be a different color or be the first one on the list.
- Use Clear CTAs (Call to Actions): Instead of “Home page,” write “See the new arrivals.” Instead of “Blog,” write “Read our tips.”.
If you use WordPress or another CMS, create a page on your site, for example:. mysite.gr/links. So, every time someone clicks the link in your bio, they’re taken to your site, allowing your analytics (Google Analytics) to count them as a visitor and “reach out” to them again (retargeting) in the future.
